Because here at Chatty... ...ever catch yourself... ...finally collapse back into bed? Oh, absolutely. We all have those little routines and habits. Some we create intentionally, and others just sneak up on us. Whether we realize it or not, they shape how our days flow. Exactly. So, today we're diving into daily routines. Morning, noon, and night. Michael and I will share how we structure our time, and hopefully you'll get some ideas for your own day. Even small changes can make a huge difference.

Let's start with the morning. Jess, how do you begin your day? Well, I wake up pretty early, around 6 a.m. But before I even get out of bed, I do some light stretching. Oh, that's a nice way to ease into the day. Do you check your phone first thing? Nope. I avoid it because I don't want to start my day feeling overwhelmed. Instead, I take a few minutes to just breathe and wake up naturally.

What about you? I wake up around 6:15, and the first thing I do is head straight to the bathroom. I wash my face with cold water. It really wakes me up. Ooh, that sounds refreshing. Do you drink water in the morning, too? Yes. I have a glass of room-temperature water with lemon. It helps with hydration and kick-starts my metabolism. Then I grab my coffee. I love the smell of freshly brewed coffee in the morning. Ah, coffee is a must. But before breakfast, I do a 10-minute mindfulness meditation to clear my mind. Then I do some light yoga to stretch out my body.

That's a great way to set a positive tone for the day. My morning's a bit different. I make breakfast while my coffee brews. Usually, it's oatmeal with fruit and nuts. What do you have? I love scrambled eggs or avocado toast with fruit. And while I cook, I put on some music or a podcast to create a good atmosphere. Nice. After breakfast, I take a warm shower and review my day's plan.

Do you plan your day in the morning? Actually, I plan the night before, so in the morning I just focus on getting energized. Oh, and I finish my shower with 30 seconds of cold water. Whoa, that's intense. Now let's talk about the afternoon. How do you stay productive? I schedule short breaks throughout the day. During breaks, I do deep breathing or have a mindful cup of tea. It helps me reset.
